Howell Soccer Club has evaluated the game formats offered for recreational play. There have been several updated recommendations from our governing bodies and technical leaders. We believe these new and/or updated divisions will be beneficial to the players and will provide an improvement to the total soccer experience. A summary of the changes is in the chart below.

Notably, we now include time slots for each division for families to understand the schedule prior to sign-up. Beginning in Fall 2024, Howell Soccer Club will offer the following programs by grade:

We understand some families may have expected to play in the previous years’ format (e.g., a 1^st grader wishes to play 7v7, or a more skilled third grader wishes to play with 4^th & 5^th graders). During the transition year, parents may request that their child play-up. HSC will manage those requests on a case-by-case basis.
