Howell Soccer Club is a recreational soccer program for players in grades Pre-K to 12th Grade. Our program recently celebrated it's 50-Year Anniversary in 2022! As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, our goal is provided safe and fun programming to the community of Howell Township. Through a "Saturday Soccer" oriented offering, we provide non-competitive soccer opportunities in two seasons each year: Fall and Spring. Driven mostly by volunteerism from coaches and administrators, we are confident that our program can serve your soccer needs; from beginner-to-veteran.

About Our Divisions
The Little Kickers (Pre-K) division is a newly implemented co-ed Saturday-morning program, with no weeknight practice or weeknight commitments, that features teams of ~8 players that play against other Little Kickers teams within Howell Soccer Club. Beginning at the scheduled ‘game time’ each week, the volunteer team coach will lead a 20 minute practice before leading the team in a 4-versus-4 game. This division is intended for players of pre-k age, in the year immediately proceeding their start in Kindergarten.
The Future Stars (Kindergarten) division is similar to the Little Kickers (Pre-K) division, except the program is geared to players during their kindergarten year. Future Stars is a co-ed Saturday-morning program, with no weeknight practice or weeknight commitments, that features teams of ~8 players that play against other Future Stars teams within Howell Soccer Club. Beginning at the scheduled ‘game time’ each week, the volunteer team coach will lead a 20 minute practice before leading the team in a 4-versus-4 game.
The Instructional (1st & 2nd Grade) divisions feature a boys and girls group that have one weeknight practice each week and a Saturday morning soccer game against other teams in the HSC Instructional division. Organized into teams of ~10-13 players each, these divisions feature a 7-versus-7 format (including a goalkeeper) with an on-field coach to help manage the game. The volunteer coach will choose the night and time for the once weekly practice held at Oak Glen Park. As the division name might show, this division is focused on a fun instructional environment for players in 1st and 2nd grade.
The Peewee (3rd-5th Grade) divisions are divided into a boys and girls group that play in a 9-versus-9 format (including a goalkeeper) against other teams in the HSC Peewee division. Players are grouped in teams of ~12-15 for games on Saturday mornings and early afternoons. Additionally, the volunteer team coach will lead one, 1-hour long practice each week at Oak Glen Park on a weeknight and time that the coach chooses. This division is the first time coaches are not on the field with their team during games, and begins to emphasize a player-driven game of soccer.
The Novice (6th-8th Grade) division provides full-sided, 11-versus-11 (including a goalkeeper), soccer games to co-ed teams that compete against one another within the division. Organized into teams of ~15 players, the Novice division offers an opportunity for boys and girls of middle school age to play in a fun and competitive soccer environment. The volunteer team coach may elect to lead a practice each week at Oak Glen Park on a weeknight and time that the coach chooses.
The Advanced (9th-12th Grade) division provides an opportunity for high-school aged players to compete in a hybrid format of both in-house scrimmages and games against one or more surrounding township club(s). Players in this division may be expected to occasionally travel outside of Howell Township to participate in this recreational program. The volunteer team coach may elect to lead a practice each week at Oak Glen Park on a weeknight and time that the coach chooses.
