Dear Members,
I hope this notice finds you and your family in good health. As we continue to face these unprecedented times, it becomes more evident that it will still be quite some time before we can safely provide soccer programming to our community. Today, I come to you with unfortunate news regarding our scheduled Spring 2020 season.
The Howell Soccer Club Board of Directors has decided to cancel the Spring 2020 season and provide full refunds to all members.
While this is not the outcome we all hoped for, we cannot yet be sure when and how safe soccer programming can begin. We also understand that, now more than ever, members may need these registration fees to help provide for their family. That said, here are logistical items pertaining to your refund:
Credit Card/E-Check Payments
- All registration fees and volunteer deposits made by electronic payment will be refunded to the card/account used at the time of registration.
- We anticipate electronic refunds to begin the week of May 11th, contingent on our ‘place in line’ with our online registration vendor.
Paper Check & Money Order Payments
- Payments submitted via paper check have not and will not be deposited.
- All paper checks will be held until June 15th, 2020 before being destroyed. If you would like to receive your check-back via mail, please contact [email protected].
- Payments made by Money Order will be deposited and a check from Howell Soccer Club will be mailed to you.
Credits for the Fall 2020 Season
Given the uncertainty of COVID-19’s impact on the youth sport environment, we do not want to be in a position of issuing credits for a season that is not certain to happen. Beginning on June 1st, registrations for the Fall 2020 waitlist will begin. You will not be charged for any waitlist registrations.
Alternative Programming
In the event an opportunity arises to provide safe alternative programming during the summer-time (pick-up games, 3v3 style events, etc.), we will communicate such information to you.
